GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Teachers can be super helpful but at the same time not teach or just have no motivation to teach. Kids should be more disciplined for bullying or teachers should be more on the look out for it.

Something I liked about Independence High School was the friends and teachers. I feel that everyone there is very welcoming and there are a lot of after-school activities that one can participate in and make more friends. The teachers are very supportive and find ways to connect with every student weather it school related or not. They are there for every one of their students.
