I have a rocky history with the school and its district. With some terrible teachers who do terrible things. But there are amazing people, athletics, classes, and clubs. They have a tendency to disregard general student safety concerns in way to cover themselves up with a better look. But other than that they are a great school.

I just finished my sophmore year here at East Grand Rapids High School. I have been in the East Grand Rapids Public Schools District since 2014. I value the amount of oppertunitys we are given but the lack of diversity is troubling. Our Music and Arts department does not get near the same attention the sports department does. Our administration is ok at hadling situations, but could be better. I feel that the acidemics here are spectacular and the collage readiness is on point.

Experienced staff, well-connected. The faculty at this school -- both temporary and permanent -- are brilliant and kind educators; furthermore, each and every one of them has enormous and stupendous talent.... I could not have asked for a better education.

The school truly maintains their revered excellence, despite contrary opinions. Room for growth is always there - whether you take AP, IB, Honors, or regular courses. There are various class-strings (i.e. journalism, world history, arts) that support all types of students. The only faults that may be...

One of the teachers there (no longer there but represents the culture) was the meanest adult I have ever met. In my sheltered life, grown-ups are usually not so rude and disrespectful.

I came to Live in East Grand Rapids because I wanted my child to go to a good school. I was insulted by the secretary because I could not make the day to pick up school schedules since I have to work. I was asked if I lived in East GR as if I could not afford to live there. My child is being bullyed...

As a former student and a current parent, I'm thrilled with the EGR schools. I was more than prepared for college when I attended and tested out of all Freshman requirements because the teachers had prepared me so well. When we moved back to East as an adult it was for the schools and we could not b...
