GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers were hands down the best in terms of getting you ready for exams and college. I complained while in classes because they were very hard at the moment. But, looking back, the challenging curriculum helped me so much. I feel so much more ready for college and all my exams and AP tests. I have had some trouble with the administration after it changed completely. I've gotten mixed up with other friends of mine that are the same ethnicity as me. I don't feel seen by the administration and I don't feel like they do a lot to truly help us. A lot of the time, I feel like the administration doesn't know the student body at all (which is very odd because we only have 50 people per grade). When you would express your concern about things they are responsible for---like signing us up for classes and nominating us for scholarships---they would get very mad even though they were not doing their work properly.

The teachers do care and make an effort for students to succeed. It is clear that they care about you and courses can be difficult but resources are available to help you even when you struggle they will do their best to help you.

Curriculum-wise, it was an extremely enriching experience. I would like for the work of the office staff, in general, to be better distributed and carried out. Presently, they do not always pay attention to the student's needs and can be neglectful. Some of the staff are tasked with more than they are paid to do while others do less than their fair share of work. Overall, I enjoyed the inclusive community and the STEM-focused curriculum and university courses.

My child is in the third year here--now taking college courses. My child has found both the high school teachers and the professors as being easily approachable and willing to work one-on-one. The expectations are high--and students have to go through a competitive application process to be admitted...

My daughter loves this school. We are still new and learning how to work as a group with parents and school. The teachers spend time with the students one-on-one. We need our own building. We have a new principal and the parents are building a momentum with engagement.

The school is excellent. The principal is horrible. These are bright students that don't have the basic accommodations of a regular high school like lockers or a cafeteria. But Ms. Williams can't see past her own ego to even understand this. They can't go outside during lunch. They must eat in an op...

I am in the second year of this program. The teachers, staff, and environment are all great places for education. It has also immersed me in culture thanks to the broad culture saturation. I would also advise anyone thinking of enrolling that this school is labor intensive, both in and out of school...
