GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best parts of GCHS is the dual credit opportunities, some of the teachers, and the amount of clubs and sports possible. The worst parts are the cafeteria food, not having as many different types of classes as we could have, etc.

My experience was great. It is a small school, but we are one big united family. When It comes to community events, we are all together supporting the community. I feel like it has prepared me for college in some ways. I like all of our dual credit opportunities. Something I would like to see change, is having more hands-on medical classes instead of notes and textbooks.

Some teachers are really mean and pick favourites but that's just high school I guess. I got called out one time because I was having a bad day and the teacher basically called me stupid in front of maybe 20-24 other students, so that was a fun week to get that sorted out.

I go to GCHS and it is terrible, bullying goes unnoticed, which is something all schools should be concerned about. Greensburg high school is not somewhere i would put my kids.

I hated most of my time at this school. The unequal opportunities that most people turn a blind eye to, the students that are allowed to get away with practically anything, and the faculty and families that allow it to happen appall me. Unless your parents have a foot in the door, this school isn't...
