Overall East Link is a wonderful school. The Mandarin teachers are definitely the highlight of the school. I wish they had better quality English-speaking teachers. Many of them seem burned out and have very poor communication. They have a library but after 2 years my child has never been able to check a book out. They also need a better playground. It's very limited and my child says he and his classmates get hurt a lot due to the majority of it being concrete. The communication from the administration could be better. Everything is very last minute which as a working parent is tough. I've missed several school activities due to not knowing until 1-2 weeks before. My son enjoys learning Mandarin and all about Chinese culture. Thankful to have the opportunity to send him here even though improvements are desperately needed soon.
