GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I transferred to Grove City High School when I was an incoming junior, and I wanted to be better at band. I switched schools because Grove City has one of the best bands I have ever heard, and it has been such a pleasure to go to this school. My friends are wonderful, and yes there are some people who will not like you, but you learn to live without expecting people to give you everything you want.

The course selections are great, staff are helpful & see students as real people, grading systems and clubs are fair. Diversity is accepted, many different religious & ethnic backgrounds. College credit/dual enrollment is also accessible. My one con is that the staff does not spread much mental health or sexual awareness.

The teachers do a good job, the school counselors are great and it is a safe welcoming environment. The only issue is how political the sports program is.

If your failing they don't even ask you to get missing work done. There are also so many kids at this school. When...

It is currently my senior year at this school, and I can thoroughly say my time here was iffy at best.Though I do say that, there were some good things, such as diverse artistic programs, a great French teacher whom I see as a second mother. The drama club was a lot of fun the two years I attended,...

My grandson attends Grove City High School. He was on the football team, attended every practice, worked hard, and never was given the opportunity to play 1 minute of any game. How can any school allow such treatment of any student? How does this inspire students to work hard, or improve their self...
