The overall experience has been nice based on the education. The teachers prepare you by giving college readiness tips and the proper advice to move up the next grade level. Each year as the courses get harder, there are also various resources or teachers that you can reach out to not only get ready with classes but college. For example, on campus there are counselors for scholarships, standardized test preparation, and help on essay writing.

Boca Ciega High School has never been an outstandingly good school. As early as the 60s, the school has had a sense of being held together by thin strings, as can be seen by the movie Porky's, written about the life of a student during this time. Kids at Bogie are cruel, cliquey and generally off their collective rockers. However, I found my way to a few friends that made things more than bearable in my waning semesters and a savior of a teacher in Mr. Drucker.

I attended Boca Ciega High School my freshmen year and returned my senior year. Overall, the school is a good school, the teachers are passionate & very involved with students and so are the administrators.

My son attends this school and it is amazing. Very supportive and teachers go out of their way to challenge him. The magnet programs are top notch.

Two of my children have attended this school, one graduated and in his first year of college, my youngest graduating this year, already accepted to two colleges.
