GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers and all the staff have been extremely kind and helped whenever I needed it. In my first year, I was struggling to figure out how virtual school would work, and the teachers and students were all there to support me and find my way. They have provided me with challenges when I needed to be challenged and they provided resources and feedback whenever I needed those. Overall, the people that attend and run IAVA are extremely kind and welcoming.

I liked how easy it was to do the school work. I also liked how you can o it at your own pace. I didn't like how math worked, it was hard to understand without a teacher.

There are incredible teachers, an easy to understand schedule and fun field trips. I really would like to see more older students attend the field trips

I love that it doesn't cost a dime, everything I need gets shipped to me, it meets all state guidelines, I don't have to report anything on my own, I have support when I need it, and I can still work at the pace the kids need. The teachers...

I have 2 boys attending IAVA. We start our second year with the virtual academy this year with a 4th grader and a 1st grader. This school has been everything we hoped it would be. Hands on enough but still allowing us the freedom to work at our pace. The teachers and administrators are amazing and w...
