GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I've been attending this school for the last three years and I have seen it change quite a lot over the years. The principal has changed many different times, changing the whole feeling of the school. The people i've met here (friends and teachers) are really the only reason I feel motivated to come back everyday.

I have enjoyed my time at Steinert High School, but there are definitely some things that I would like to see changed. I am a member of our marching band and our school play and it is jarring how drastic the difference in funding is between athletics and the arts. I would like to see this gap closed up much more.

Unfortunately I had experienced the school during a major low, we had 3 separate principles over 4 years. the most recent principle seems to be very good and competent unlike the former one. The best part of the school is the staff and teachers always being willing to help. The worst part of the school is the severe lack of discipline and rampant drug use.

I went to this school many years ago and it was one of the worst experiences of my life.I was a very hard working straight A student and was bored out of my mind at this school. There were a handful of good teachers. and that is where it ended. The counselor was useless. Luckily I managed to do well...

Best High School besides Princeton, teachers care and are educated , anyone who says different has a bad attitude and just wants to make trouble.

The school is making a joke out of our children education. My son went to school for the first time last week, he said nobody is even paying attention to the students, majority of the teachers are not present and they dont care at all as is with the remote, they assign stuff for the children to do,...

If you ever think to move to this area because of the school, don’t . It might be perfect for people that grew up in the area but if you are not local your kid will be descriminated , and really it’s not even worth for a school that doesn’t prepare the majority of the kids for anything more then MCC...
