GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Winnacunnet was overall great. The worst part was when the pandemic started and we all had to do our work from home. It was unfortunate, but I think the school handled it as best they could have.

Though the pandemic got me off to a rough start in my high school career, a school like Winnacunnet was definitely the right place for me. All of the teachers really cared about your success and were there to help you. I remember very vividly our AP Physics teacher lecturing us on how not to let a bad breakup freshman year of college ruin your experience. He told us we're allowed to wear sweatpants for one week only, and then move on. I feel like the teachers at Winnacunnet set me up for success in more ways than one.

I have had a good experience at this high school. Most of the teachers care about you and want to help you succeed. There are some that are just bad teachers and don't seem to want you to succeed though. There are MANY different opportunities for each student to individualize their high school experience including many different classes and levels of classes. Even if you find something that the school doesn't offer the Extended Learning Opportunity office will help you get what you want.

Winnacunnet isn't that great of a school, but it's not terrible. Barely any of the students actually want to learn, and most only show up because they're already on probation for attendance issues. A lot of the teachers at Winnacunnet pick favorites and treat certain students better than the rest of...
