GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall if you are an U.S resident, you get treated the same way as the others but the things change when it comes to Non-U.S citizens, they get treated differently, more harsh, hostility, disdain, some people make them feel as less just because they don't speak english, my experience has been this way since I got in there, and maybe it's not everyone, but the few who does that needs to wake up and learn some respect.

I believe that west Jefferson high-school could be a much better school, there isn't much opportunity outside of band and sports, and the school doesn't feel too safe with the amount of fights. The teachers however are a enjoyable experience, but the education could be much better

I was a teacher in that school last year. The principal fakes grades to graduate students who did not complete their credits requirements. I provided documents showing changes of grades to the school board and to the superintendent. Nothing happened. The business as usual. The students graduate at a...
