GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Best part of my school is the amount of student involvement they have, so many clubs , events and sports and activities. The teachers are incredible and have always developed a relationship with my son. The part I wish they can improve on is the college planning

I had a great overall experience there. The only thing I look back on and wish I had more guidance with applying to colleges.

The Administration and Staff are extremely available and responsive. I feel like this is the safest, structured place to send a child. Like any school, issues are abundant. But, they don't turn a blind eye to it. They acknowledge the issues that exist and really want to continue making the school better.

I quickly went to community college and took it from there. Hauppauge had great art classes though. If it weren’t...
