GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

LPS Hayward is a school with lots of diversity and is a school that allows students to express themselves freely through clubs and school wide activities. LPS Hayward is a great place to build a community during students' four years of high school. However, the academics could use some improvement.

LPS Hayward , is a very bonded school everyone knows everyone , and there's so many resources they may not be well known or heard of but your counselors will help guide you there will always be some one there for you no matter where you look there is someone who is experienced and wants nothing but the best for you . Students have a block schedule which prepares them for college , students are college bond once they step foot on campus and they are expected and do nothing but the best .

I believe that Hayward's leadership public schools are not current with college preparatory classes. We have issues finding teachers and having classes students are interested in. The pro is that it is a small school with a close community. A change I'd like to see is giving more money to the athletics program specifically soccer.

I currently attend LPS and I love this place. The environment is small which allows teachers to have a closer connection with students. With a smaller class size, students get the one on one help required for them to succeed in high school. Here at LPS, student feels safe coming to school. Its a pla...

I love that school, every teacher in that school gave up their bright future, because all of them are in their mid 20's to early 30's, and they have all been to wonderful universities such as Harvard, Stanford, UC Berkeley, and much more. They could have all be teaching in private schools filled wit...
