MT Eden is a great diverse high school. Offering great classes that will be useful for college and/or helpful for your start of major. There's a lot of useful resources such as a college and career center and high educated counselors who will support and help you choose the correct classes. The only thing I would change from this school is the food situation. We get the same food serve everyday. Also It would be nice having more emotional support counselors who know how to do their job in support students not going against them.

Although this school provides opportunities for students to excel in academics, it's very easy to be ruined by a teacher that isn't properly committed to their job. I, along with many others have had my transcript suffer because of certain teachers not properly doing their job in teaching and not caring enough.

The school is good and the teachers help you a lot. They could've done better with lunch and having more security around since fights broke out here and there. Overall, the staff is nice and help you out especially if you're in the Puente or AVID program

This is the best high school in Hayward United school district. My child had always gone to private school until 9th grade. I put him in Hayward high that school has gone down the toilet. My child had a fight the first week he was there because of some bully hitting over & over. Mt. Eden the teacher...

Mt. Eden is the best school in Hayward. Mr. Duran has really turned the school around. His passion and joy for the school has elevated the moral of students to believe that what ever they set their mind to they can do.

As a highly qualified veteran teacher I was saddened to experience such horrid conditions.The classroom had rat droppings everywhere, trash stuffed into all cabinets, rude disrespectful students, graffiti all over the desks etc, NO working heat, and outdated curriculum.
