GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I made a list to weigh in my thoughts on the school. These are my own opinions so please keep that in consideration. Positives: -There are some teachers and staff who sincerely care and if given the right opportunity you can really connect with them. -Some peers are wonderful people and are worth getting to know. -Sports. Negatives: -A lot of the student's attitudes can be quite poor and can be very unaccepting of people who aren't "normal" as they would claim. -The teaching can be quite hit or miss from teacher to teacher and from year to year. -The amount of times bathrooms were closed down because of vaping is huge. There are a handful of people scared to go to the bathrooms for a fear of being lumped in with those who take part. -The events that they try to hold. The administration claims to care about student opinion, but when attending I found that even when everyone shared a disliking for some event, it was held the next year anyways. -Mental health is poorly handled.

The school is just really small and the school assumes most of their students are not going to college. They could do better with how they go about showing students how to go out into the real world.

What I liked at HHS is the teachers. I liked how involved they were in the teaching. One thing I wish I could change about HHS is their students attitudes and how they treat others. Students were disrespectful to other students with special needs, would mock my friend for her weave, just disrespectful student section.
