GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I would like to think that my overall experience was good and that the resources provided helped me prepare for college. Although I missed out on a year of in person learning, my school did the best that they could to provide everyone with a form of education during difficult times.

Herndon High School was good. It wasn't the best experience ever, but it wasn't bad. I would suggest they do more to prepare the youth for adulthood and the different paths in life one can take.

It's not that bad, the teachers are highly encouraged to pass their students when students shouldn't be passing. A lot of their higher level classes are limited too.

This school left me scarred, traumatized, and self-conscious. Sure, I got a decent education, but I was a social outcast humiliated by my peers while the administrators turned a blind eye to my situation. If your child is, generally speaking, a "weirder" type, i.e. louder, more spontaneous, or socia...
