It is a very good place to give students and parent opportunities to get back onto their feet. It is a great place, but does have room for improvement.

Personally I think that there are some faults to the school that they should definitely work on. But the opportunities that I had were amazing. I received my CNA and I am able to work right out of high school on a good job. Definitely take advantage of this schools opportunities.

Milton Hershey School was a really great because they told us how to respect other people and I got really good grades, they also helped us make friends that will live on for a life time. I loved MHS when I was there. I did have some bad days but the Houseparents, Teachers and my Peers helped me with all of that. Milton Hershey School might not be for everybody but it was still a great place. As I always hear it is the sweets place on earth. I had amazing teachers, houseparents and friends.

There’s a lot to unpack here. Administration Home life doesn’t care anymore. Overworked. Not appreciated. It’s not what it seems at all. President needs to retire immediately. Very controlling. Kids are the ones who are suffering when the houseparents and staff keep leaving in droves.

Start researching the reviews online. Houseparents play a huge pivotal role in the lives of the kids but they’ve been leaving in huge numbers. They’re not treated with respect. Administration dictates more responsibilities every day.
