GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Sterling has a great program and is highly involved in the community. They search out ways to ensure every student has a choice of a variety of activities and clubs to get involved in.

It took years to prove an incident of HIB and then every thing the bully did after that was considered part of the original offense. The teachers and staff often moved or spoke to my child about reoccurrin...

This school does nothing to stop bullying. They can’t handle multiple disabilities. We never realized how good the child study team was at Somerdale Park, until my child went to Sterling. They should be ashamed and go take lessons from a real team at the Elementary School.

Despite whatever ratings you see on here, Sterling is a significantly better high school than MANY of the major area high school districts. A very safe environment with great sport and after school programs/clubs.
