My experience at FCAC has been an enriching and very interesting experience. The academics are rigorous and have definitely challenged me as a student. I like how students that want to be academically challenged and get incredible opportunities to pursue higher education can come here free of cost. One thing that has not been so good for me personally is administration involvement. My senior thesis book spoke on a controversial topic however, it was one of things that affects us directly (especially young women) and I felt like as an almost adult, I should be able to speak on this topic to other adults. With advocacy from my teachers, I was able to do my book but I was forced to add an entire other book that I never read which was challenging to say the least. I don't think admin should be censoring topics because controversial novels such as mine (Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov) shouldn't be censored but rather talked about so we can learn from such stories and protect others.

The school is like a Christian school, but without the label. There are constant references to events in Christianity, which make it a bit difficult for me (a Muslim student) to follow along

My child, who has ADHD, has excelled at this school. The staff provides assistance whenever necessary. He is always eager to attend school and particularly enjoys the Drama Club they offer. I highly regret going here instead of a normal school because of the hefty amount of homework and the fact that this school has given me anxiety throughout the three years I went to it, now I am going to a public high school and I have never been happier
