Overall, Southwest Guilford High School is a great school. The main criticism I have is I wish they had someone that caters to kids getting ready for college, more one on one help, with helping them with service hours, help them with college applications, and what classes that would look good for colleges for example.

Southwest Guilford High School does not have the best reputation for a public school. I have attended two high schools and can recognize the difference between the outside community and the quality of the school. The school's quality is not great, but the community is.

It has been a good experience going here. The people, including students and staff, have been very nice and helpful all four years that I have been here.

While SWGHS has super friendly students and amazing educators, the overall spirit of the school is awful. The pep rallies are boring, spirit week is uneventful and mainly consists of not having to wear a collared shirt like usual, and the students aren't really involved in activities, but as a stude...

Strong in all major offerings. Honors and AP classes. Strong leadership. Good selection of electives. Strong test scores. High overall attendance. Great graduation rate. Awards of excellence won by both faculty and students.
