GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have had an overall good experience at Highland High School. The teachers and programs are really good. Being involved in a sport or club is easy with so many options and our athletes do very well. The only downside is the school is outdated, with no new facilities like gyms or training rooms.

Going to a small town High School like Highland High was a great experience for me. I felt like I was in a save environment everyday. I liked the fact that you know everybody, all the students and teachers. Highland has some of the best teachers that go above and beyond for the students in many ways. I wouldn't trade my High School experience for anything. I've learned and grew so much in the past four years. I'm thankful for my friends and teachers for that. I will miss high school, but I'm very excited for the next chapter in my life.

Highland High School was overall a very good school. The school had great staff that wanted the best for the student. The teachers would help the student one on one with any questions they had and the office staff was always super kind! This school is passionate about their sports and parents are very involved. The food there may not be the best but the time with your friends is! You create such a nice community of peers and really get to enjoy and connect with all of them!!
