I joined in 6th grade and am currently a middle school student. This is by far the best school experience I have had. Although the workload is tough, the teachers are amazing and so are the students. Everyone is competitive, motivated, and unique. There are so many amazing traditions, especially around trips. In the I-Lab (innovation lab) we can do art and work on projects, but we can also use the variety of power tools, the laser cutter, and the 3-d printers. I love this school.

I love this school. Most of the people are really nice and caring, the faculty is always willing to answer questions or help you with something. A lot of other review's I can agree with is there is a whole lot of really stuck up rich kid's who are the rudest people ever and are mostly really dumb. The math program is also really bad. The school has really smart kids and act's like they got them there were in reality almost every kid here does extra math. The school has a lot they could improve on especially grade wise. I have no idea how well I'm doing in subject's because of the no grade system. And the student body is majority Asian and White kids. There is MAYBE three Latina kids per sect of the school. Sports or ok but in the middle school at least they don't try out for sports for inclusivity but some kids don't want to be there so they don't bother trying. and the food sucks

The nueva experience definitely isn't for everyone, but there's nothing else like it. everyone here seems to have found their people, and being around such passionate and smart peers is such a valuable part of the community. Nueva offers a multitude of unique opportunities that students embrace with an inspiring amount of enthusiasm and commitment.

Nueva is amazing because they are organized, nurturing, supportive and encouraging! They are there for you, whatever your child's learning needs are. Once you are part of the community, they share resources and find ways to support your child.

Could not find a better school for my daughter. It's not for everyone and some of the overbearing parents, overly sensitive kids are a little annoying, but in terms of giving highly-motivated kids open space to pursue their passions - there is no school even remotely close.
