The school isn't for the average student. It is for the gifted student and only adds unnecessary stress to the student. Way too much homework and unnecessary work. Teacher turnover is very high.

Although the school says there is no "admissions" requirements, some students have been encouraged "not to attend" due to their academic difficulties. The financial aid process is not extremely difficult to navigate. Costs are based on finances, with no one getting a free education. Everyone has to pay something to attend.

We are blessed to be a part of Hillsdale Academy. As a private school, we pay to be there, but the fees are partially funded through scholarships from endowments, so we pay very nominally to attend, compared to many other private schools. We have the best of counselors, tutoring, parent involvement and everything we need to be well-rounded students.

Hillsdale Academy has teachers who are not only smart and well-educated, but also wise. Amazing curriculum-even the art program here is classical and traditional! Great teachers who really know what they are teaching too. The kids here are kind and friendly. Wish my kids had started here when they were younger!
