GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Sacopee Valley is a small school located in Hiram Maine. The rural feel makes it so that each student can develop a personal relationship with their teachers. This is important for learning. One thing Sacopee lacks is diversity, this isn't their fault as its just the area we are from, but it is one of the things that sticks out. When someone would come in from other schools, everyone, staff and students, would welcome them with open arms.

Sacopee Valley High School is a very close-knit community of students and teachers that over the course of four years will really start to feel like a family. While SVHS may not be the "best" or "wealthiest" school, it is ultimately a great place for a good education that will be a great starting point for the rest of your life.
