As a sophomore at MAST @ Homestead, it has been a huge change and is significantly different from different schools. This school has many benefits such as the academic classes you can take, preparing you for college, and school activities. However, I would recommend not coming to this school if you love school sports, care about the way your teachers teach, and want to have an overall fun high school experience. This school does prepare you for college because most classes require you to study/learn on your own but, if this is not your learning style, I would not recommend coming. In addition, freshman year is a challenging year and takes time to adjust to the new learning environment. Overall, this is a good school with a couple activities; however, I would not recommend if you want a enjoyable high school experience.

Here at the Medical Academy for Science and Technology, the best things include the staff-to-student ratio, great academics, and college preparation. However, the school lacks electives that include athletics and the arts, and the administration needs a lot of improvement.

I would say it was a good experience ad I think overall prepares you on what college life is going to be like.

I guess this school is good if you don't want to have a personal life. It's impossible to juggle your own wellbeing, personal and social life, and extracurricular activities at this school.
