Pulling our daughter was the best decision ever! She will soon be attending Iolani and after spending 6 weeks there for summer camp we are so relieved to see her happy and returning to her old self. LP was a mildly traumatic experience. A bit like a mean tween Lord of the Flies. Teachers and admin turn a blind eye to a lot of unhealthy attitudes and behaviors.

La Pietra definitely built up my self-confidence and prepared me to go to college. The only drawback is that it's a very small school so you will most likely outgrow it by the time you graduate.

La Pietra constantly changes their programs, which makes it difficult for students who have to adjust to each change. The teachers also have a high turnover rate.
