The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. John Jay is a great High school with many different clubs and sports to choose from. It has amazing sports and atmosphere. Welcoming clubs and student body. The school does a great job of giving back to their community and working with parents to ensure the best for their kids.

Excellent. We love this school and the whole district. We have many years teaching experience in a variety of schools. I taught in NYC and Chappaqua! This is the best you can get and at a bargain rate for your tax dollars!!!

The school offers great class choices, AP classes, dedicated teachers, and a very positive atmosphere. The top kids last year went to Harvard, Yale, Penn, Cornell, Binghamton, and more. It also tries to reach every student, which is why they just won a NYS award for improvement across all abilities...
