I've been attending Vandebilt for the past 5 years. While I've been there, I have learned to not only deepen my faith in masses every tuesday, but I've also been taught how to stay on top of my academics. The teachers at school have helped me through problems inside and outside of the classroom.

My overall experience was alright. Being black in a predominantly white school has challenged me, but I overcame it and it has improved with more diversity. The school has had its major ups and downs over the years, especially this year with an entire new staff. Vandebilt needs improvements on how they handle bullying situations, but I can say that a prepared enough for college courses.

My experience in high school has been a journey filled with adversity. We have had to overcome total devastation due to Hurricane Ida and came back stronger.

My 2 sons have blossomed there under the school leadership. They have been able to find a friend group to fit in with, are intellectually challenged, and are held accountable for their actions. The school has fostered character formation, accountability, and individuality. I think they have been wel...
