The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school is a very great school when it comes to opportunities. They offer dual credits classes and certifications in multiple fields. Since this school is an academy, it is very small but in my opinion and experience, i believe it makes it better since you are able to be close with staff and get the help you need from them.

Jones offers health science courses and the option to obtain Associate Degree from Houston Community College (HCC). In addition, the school has a simulation lab with patient-mannequins. However, the curriculum does not provide or allow student - training hours in the lab. I wish the school offered more SAT/ACT prep courses or resources for students to utilize while preparing to take the college admission exams.

I like how students from 10 grade can have HCC classes. The teachers help students in different ways for students who don't understand.

I always been around diversity (Caucasians) and so for my junior year in High school I wanted to try something different by...
