The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

Kipp generations is not all that it seems. It seems to be getting better little by little. There is dance here for classes,it seems very fun.And for music we have our school band, which has played in parades and concerts and performancesfor the school and parents.Overall I would say it's Average. But safety wise I can't say I haven't felt safe, they take even the smallest things very seriously.Except when it comes to a storm, they will bot ket your child leave if they didn't deem it necessary. Academics is good as well depending on the teacher.Of course this scholis very diverse by far.Everyone is welcomed in with open arms. They also do home visits for your first year of high-school.

It is a good school when it comes to having resources there but as to college readiness, the school is bad at letting is become more independent it feels as if we are all being babied throughout high school. Which is not good when it comes to facing the real world.

KIPP would normally get flack for having strict views on behavior and dress code (though the dress code is much more loosely enforceable on seniors) and having bad lunch food, the school is able to deliver in its promise on preparing its students for college. With many college trips and many alumni serving as guests and speak of their college experience, KIPP allows students to get a better idea of the pros and cons of college life and what they should look out for.
The school really cares about the students. They make sure you are well prepared and are willing to stay after school if you need extea help. The teachers are unbelievably smart and caring. This is the school for you if you really want teachers to always be there for you and care about you.
