Houston students who want to continue in the KIPP program after fourth grade can attend KIPP Sharpstown College Prep for middle school and KIPP CONNECT Houston High School.
KIPP, which stands for Knowledge is Power Program, is a public, tuition-free, open-enrollment charter network. Among the largest charter school networks in the U.S., KIPP schools typically have longer instructional days so all students can participate in extracurricular activities
Started in 2008, KIPP Sharp College Prep usually enrolls about 900 students. Courses include science, math and art. Students can join extracurricular activities like singing, orchestra and art.
The KIPP Sharp College Prep lower school was a National Blue Ribbon School in 2014.

First of all TUITION IS NOT FREE. I love the values they teach. Good teaching, teachers are awesome. We have a new principal Ms. Bennett, she is so wonderful available at any time of the day.
