Mayde Creek HS is an overall decent school regarding education and community, however some teachers are too lenient with deadlines and assignment expectations, which may affect students accountability and readiness for college work.

I have enjoyed my time at Mayde Creek High School. The best parts were the diverse student body each mingling and sharing each other's cultures and work ethics. Being around a diverse bunch of people have shaped me to have a broader perspective on how and what to approach in my future endeavors. The worst parts are that people aren't good at handling certain addictions they have which disrupts the entire school. This also ties along with a good chunk of the students not necessarily caring for their academics.

Attending Mayde Creek High School opened up a lot of opportunities for me that I would've have thought to immerse myself in. It opened my eyes to volunteer opportunities that were heavily shared my teachers and administrators. It is clear that the teachers, at least that I have had, really care about the students, not only on an educational level, but also as people. Going to Mayde Creek was a great high school experience and I'm glad I got to experience it with the students and teachers there.

would never recommend this school to anyone. Gang activity, constant fights, and a huge presence of drugs within the school. There are some teachers here who genuinely care for their student's education but the environment is god awful. Some of the men's bathrooms are closed due to theft. A month or...

I saw the principal laughing at two students fighting and every morning when I get dropped off by car she is texting on her phone while directing the car line.

Honestly I am a white female and I had an alright experience but I had many friends who didn’t because of bullying, racial slurs, gang activity, etc.
