GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Milby was special than most others as my first year and parts of my second year were online. But mostly it was positive the students were relaxed. But many students had the habit of fighting, smoking, and doing illegal activities close or in school. The teachers were what is standard at a public school though once I got into AP classes. The teachers that were teaching knew a lot and I got to learn a ton. But besides that the teachers didn't really care they wouldn't teach or nothing.

The teachers are great could use a bit more of positive attitude at times but they are there when students need them. Sports and clubs there are amazing it helps us communicate more with our fellow classmates and it gives us opportunities to learn from. Overall a great school to go to.

My experience in Milby High School it was the best decision for me. I attend all my 4 years at Milby high school it was the best for me because the culture that they have in Milby high school, the teachers how they care about us, also the sports that they have in there, baseball was one of the reason that I joined here, I love to play that sport and I am playing to continue playing baseball at the college level.

This school is nothing but a mess! The principal Ruth Peña is not on the students side at all!! She loves to side to those who she’s known longest, and does not listen to her students opinions and request. Everyday I have to worry about my own safety, and that should not be something J have to worry...

It has been absolutely awful. I have had to navigate the system on my own. I've heard the staff do not like the Principal. Could this be the reason why they refuse to do work? I hope it's something as childish as this and not their outright lack of concern for the students in the school.

Milby is a great school! It would be nice if there was more parent involvement with student activities. The students do come together and support each other.
