GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

North Forest is a school that has many opportunities for you future. You have the change to earn college credit hours from dual credit, and also able to go to Barbara Jordan to learn more about the career field you are interested in and earn a license.

I was at Furr High School my first 3 years but I had to move. Going to North Forest High School was the best decision my parents ever made!!

In all honesty, this school isn't so great because for one, the school is located in a impoverished area surrounded by violence and chaos. But other than that the teachers and the administrators try to help the students in need by providing free lunch, college resources, scholarships, and certifications.

Not good. Discouraging. Not understanding. Noncomplacent. Poor motivation.
