I attended summer classes at Welch, but alot of the food in their cafeteria was really horrible and it was all they had. They did not have any other food like they were supposed to. I was not permitted to take my own lunch there just because some crazy letter about summer school at Welch stated that breakfast and lunch would be provided. It was not that hard to learn to ignore a letter like that. The food there needs to be thrown in the trash. The cooks there should have been fired a long time ago. Their dress code needs to change rather they like it or not because I don't think it is not fair to not allow the students to wear shorts, capris, or skirts there.

It used to be a great magnet school, but it's slowly coming back up. I hope the non magnet parents get more involved with the school. Our test results are improving and is going to get better. All the teachers are working way harder than last year. We have a new principal now, Ms. Garibaldi, who is...

There are plenty of great teachers, its just the student don't allow the teacher to expand their horizons due to behavior problems and other issues among the students.
