GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best parts I experience at Westfield high school was meeting new friends and teachers. The teachers here understanding you. I would say the worst parts is the bad reputation and the lack of discipline here ,kids constantly smoking and only getting suspended. I actully love Westfield i've gotten closer to people I never thought I would.

I've been going to Westfield for 4 years, and im experience has been pretty amazing. I haven't had any problems, i haven't failed any classes and it's not bad. Teacher wise their pretty good, students are kinda not good.

The worst part I've had with the school is not being involved enough or being well informed or aware of the importance about your career path. If I had the time to go back to my freshman year and choose what I wanted as my career I would've been so far ahead more than I would like and more than I am right now. My best experiences are playing soccer and getting confidence from it as I grow and get better with time. I also love the dance class is such a vibe from the ways all the girls seem to get along and the great AND SUPPORTIVE TEACHER MS.CRUZ. And the 12th counselor Ms.Francis she's so nice and caring. She has helped multiple times and has save me from trouble as well. I think it's not about the school or its reputation but the way people engaged in it. You have to get out of your comfort zone and make bonds with people in the school wether that's classmates, teammates, teachers, counselors and faculty staff.

I went to school here from 1998-2002. It was a good school. Alot has changed since then, mostly the influx of disadvantaged and low income families to the area, which is a tough challenge. Katrina brought alot of the new students to the area where many have come from difficult circumstances. I wish...

It was pretty fun when it is not in the classroom, with a few exceptions. Some teachers are pretty good at teaching. Others are just good people, but can't teach. There is also the couple of horrible ones, but great for sleep. Band was also very enjoyable while I was there. Most of the time classroo...

I don’t even have to try at this school. The teachers are ineffective, and they never try to challenge the students. If I had a choice I would have never come to this school

I went to Westfield from 2002-2005. I decided to graduate early for a few reasons, one of them being that I absolutely hated going to school there. I wasn't challenged academically. The teachers cared and tried to do the best they could, but the kids going to school here are from low income areas fo...
