Students at Maplebrook Elementary School benefit from their first-rate teachers and staff. Providing an excellent education is a priority, but Maplebrook’s faculty and administrators foster students’ interests and creativity. With clubs ranging from student council to art to safety patrol, there is something for everyone. Students interested in robotics can join the Robotics group of fifth graders. Teams design, build, and program their own robots using Lego Mindstorms kits. This task is followed up with the Humble Elementary Robotics Open (HERO) competition hosted in the spring. Today's fifth graders are tomorrow's Pulitzers with the Maplebrook Broadcasting Company (MBC) News Team. These young journalists report, anchor, direct, and edit video footage before airing the broadcast every morning. Fourth and fifth graders have a chance to show off their vocal chops by auditioning for the Broadway Bears. This choir group performs throughout the year at various functions in the community, including the Humble ISD Fine Arts Festival held in May. Maplebrook Elementary School opened its doors in 2001 and serves students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The school currently enrolls 633 students with a 14-to-one student-to-teacher ratio.

First interaction I had with the Principal and she was very rude. Talked in a condescending tone. If that is how she speaks to people on a daily, that is sad. I do love the teachers so far.

This is a great school with dedicated teachers and administrators. My daughters are excited to go everyday and love sharing all about their day during dinner. They have all the essential resources as well as clubs, tutoring, specials, and family events. I read a comment about the previous principle;...

Not as good as what people say and what I was told they are in my opinion. If you have a child with a disabilty of learning they do not really help you. In fact, All they do is send you emails on everything they have done wrong that day and change their color if they make a wrong move. It could be t...
