Home of the Mariner, Mesa View Middle School is dedicated to providing a safe environment and nurturing great thinkers. The school provides a rigorous academic curriculum which includes core subjects in English/Language Arts, math, science, social science and physical education. Marine View features both core electives and specialized elective courses. Core electives include beginning band, intermediate and advanced band, along with chorus. Specialized electives feature classes in performing arts with a focus on dance, woodshop and jazz ensemble. In addition, the school sponsors an intervention support elective, which offers students additional support in math, English, literature and also assists students in developing successful study skills. Marine View Middle has a competitive athletics department offering a variety of sports including basketball, volleyball and cross country. The academics at this school are great, there advanced math classes for all grades. Most teachers are great at this school and will stay before/after school or during lunch to help you.
