At Stonegate Elementary School, students are embraced in a supportive community, enhancing their learning and development with unique programs and events that make going to school fun. This National Blue Ribbon school is in the heart of Irvine’s Stonegate community just east of Woodbury. Serving approximately 1,000 students in kindergarten through sixth grade, Stonegate Elementary School is also a California Distinguished School and was a 2019 Gold PBIS program winner, which recognizes schools for positive behavioral intervention support methods. At Stonegate, academic programs use technology to help students become comfortable in a 21st-century learning environment. Stonegate Elementary also offers a district-sponsored gifted and talented program for qualifying students in fourth through sixth grades. The on-site Afterschool Classroom Enrichment program, or ACE, offers fun opportunities such as art, chess, language and more, as well as homework help. At Stonegate, students begin their journeys to a bright future.

Well at first, It was pretty good, but the supervisors don't do their job that well, for example, I was accused of cursing by another student, and I was supposed to say sorry when he was accusing me of no proof. However, since neither apologised, they just let us be alone. And for the PTA, I don't have any problems, but I'm not sure if they can fully be trusted. I'm not sure why, I just get bad vibes from them. You will have some trouble if you don't speak English normally, but the Academics and diversity pay for it. In general, It basically an average school with some flaws.

My daughter goes to the school for four years first grade teacher absent three times a week and her fourth grade teacher absent for 2 1/2 month a year and taking sub days frequently. My daughter entered this school 4th grade year. We already lived in this area longer but she didn’t want to leave her old school. I’m so glad we made the transition. Her teacher’s have been wonderful lots of support. She’s made very nice friends with lovely parents. I hope my soon to be kindergarten...
