MacArthur high school is a very diverse school with many groups blending into one. This is nice, but there are common safety issues and threats. Like every school, there are good and bad teachers, but the good ones are so helpful and want to see you succeed. We are a low income area so there are many resources for that, but it isn't the easiest to find help for college readiness. I would like more safety precautions, better college counseling, and more college readiness programs.

It's a great school I have few bad things to say but many great things because if it wasn't for this school I wouldn't have been able to learn not only education stuff but also the readiness for the real-world help salot and it been helping me when starting to pay car insurance and phone bill so the advice and the lessons some times have a little more meaning once they start to relate to the stuff you have to do in the outside world.

I have had an extremely pleasant experience at MacArthur high school. From the moment transfered till present I have always felt a sense of community in that school. Currently I am a senior and MacArthur is preparing me in this journey towards college.

All these reviews about homophobia are misguided. This school has been excellent for our teen. I love the principal and all his teachers have been super supportive and encouraging.
