Irvington High School is not bad but there's a lot of things that need to change. The best parts would probably be my friends and some teachers. Some teachers really care about their jobs and want their students to succeed. Some changes I would like to see are more organization and structure in the school. Also, there is a lack of staff(ex. teachers and lunch aids).

I really liked the teachers there. They were very helpful in helping me prepare for the real world and college. The main problem was how old the building was and how poorly they handled the broken systems in it. Some days it was too hot and some days during the winter there was no heat at all. The school prioritizes sports over academics a lot. There aren't enough security guards to handle the kids who skip class so it's usually loud in the hallways. But with the help of my teachers, it wasn't a terrible experience and I still got to learn.

What I liked about Irvington High School is the diversity and non discrimination. I also like the fact that the teachers and administration care about their students and their grades. They try to incorporate students in the lesson instead of just standing up talking. Somethings that I dislike about my school would be that its not that organized and to me there are lots of kids.

Horrible place. The kids fight every single day in the halls. They are never in class, students go as far as to hide in bathrooms to not be in class. Inside classrooms kids are yelling, out of their seats, playing music and dancing. The teachers cannot control the students and are constantly getting...

There are fights literally everyday. 20% of students do not respect the staff. There are 5 gangs in the school. Although it is better than years before because gang members are keeping the violence at the fists instead of using firearms that they 100% do hav. Most students at the school are not gang...
