Oak Hill Academy is the first public school to offer exclusive education to students with autism or related developmental disorders.
The school aims to help students reach their full potential in academics, behavior and communication.
Oak Hill Academy uses a unique educational approach with a variety of resources to meet students’ needs.
There are eight dedicated academic programs specifically designed for children with autism or related disabilities, including STAR, or Strategies for Teaching based on Autism Research.
Students learn various skills, from Common Core subjects to self-regulation and emotional control. Older students complete transition plans to help them adjust to more independent living in the future.
Oak Hill Academy also offers a Community-Based Instruction program that teaches students age-appropriate skills and behavior in domestic, vocational, recreation and community areas.
The school also offers programs for parents on various topics, as well as providing many opportunities for volunteers to be involved with the school.

I love the results from this school with 2 of my kids. They are phenomenal here I always recommend them when asked by others how I like it. Lovely helpful staff. They really work with them and my kids are always excited to go.

Horrible. Kids are constantly bullied. The majority of the staff Don't care & are part of the problem. They won't help the children suffering. My kids would come home with headaches and stomach issues from the every day stress of that school. So many people I know, whose kids attend that school, are...
