GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Jefferson City High School which was founded on 22nd January, 1964. It's one of it's kind in the Jefferson City School District. I would personally say my worst experience is when I transferred to the school. Settling in a new environment became a problem for me. That period was really tough for me. Nevertheless my best period came not long after I settled in; it was when my teammates cheered me on after I scored my first goal for the team.

I find that there is a lack of college preparation, and the process is very independent. The teachers are often very supportive and helpful.

I honestly have no regrets coming to Jefferson City High School. The environment is friendly and I have gotten nothing but support in my clubs and in the classroom. There are so many opportunities for everyone, and I've gotten tons of help with my issues and accommodations.

I graduated with the class of 2021, and I have a lot to say about my personal experience as a student. Staff members other than teachers have given me the worst experience. I had a 504 plan, which was never followed through with, and many of the office staff members had things to say about me. It wa...

Have had children that graduated over the last twenty five years (oldest to youngest). This district has been on a decline all twenty-five years. School is not challenging enough, the students are not prepared for college or the workforce. The curriculum needs to be revamped, and, while I understand...

Absolutely awful. The only thing it taught me is that it is important to get my future kids a better schooling than I had.
