Charleston Collegiate is a school that could do with a lot of change. There are many internal issues such as rash hiring of teachers and overworking staff that lead to the experience not being as good as it could be. the academics are very shaky at the moment because there have been a lot of staff changes over the past few years. This issue has led to the inconsistency of learning processes. The school promotes an overprotective lifestyle and could use a culture shift along with giving a lot of busy work instead of effective learning.

Charleston Collegiate is a collaborative school where parents can feel welcome to have a voice and where the administrators are fully supportive. We all know that learning is most effective when it's made to be fun, and that is the heart of the curriculum strategy at Charleston Collegiate.

I mean, it's school, it's not going to be perfect but it's not terrible, the buildings need work, and the arts department needs more recognition

I am utterly disappointed with my experience at this school. It’s painfully obvious that this institution cares more about lining its pockets than about the well-being of its students. The middle school is a disgrace, made up of outdated, filthy trailers that are riddled with mold and unpleasant odo...

We have withdrawn two of our kids from the middle school at Charleston Collegiate. Both high academic achievers. This is the worst school we have ever experienced. First of all, the academic preparation our kids received was woefully inadequate. The teach to the lowest level of learning in the class...

We have been very happy with CCS! Both our kids were able to get into top notch colleges, with scholarships. Most importantly, they learned!!! They actually learned the topics they were taught and they retained the information instead of just regurgitating information. The school provided another fa...
