If you are looking for a small school where your middle school or high school students uniqueness is celebrated and they are taught to think for themselves while being part of a community you need to check out KCA.

The small size makes for a great, individualized learning environment. I started at KCA at the end of middle school, and I loved every minute of it. The school does not have sports teams, however I was never in to sports. KCA focuses more on the arts and other creative activities, which is where I thrive.

I enjoyed going, I felt like the school was a vital building block for the person I've become. I still have fun visiting from time to time, too.

Excellent nuturing environment for students. Creative thinking and personal responsibility encouraged. Academically challenging but not excessively so that would be detrimental to the student. I wish I had this experience growing up. There are things as parent I want my child/one day adult to possess, integrity, compassion, courage, receptivity to new ideas, these desires of mine have been practiced by my child at this school. I am proud of the adult my child will become. I am grateful.
