Katy is a standard high school, but the administration is weird about discipline. You may get detention for some tardies, but those who cause real issues are left unscathed. Be careful because they allow criminals in their school, and the security is very lackluster.

I went to Katy High School all four year. Most teachers are super friendly and want to teach, the admins are super nice especially Dr. Hull the principal. Safety can be a concern with almost daily fights occurring and the smell of weed in the bathrooms. Im hoping some changes happened when after I graduated.

For the past 4 years, I have had a pretty decent experience . There are teachers there that really care and there are some that are there for a check. The parent/community involvement is A+. If i could change any thing it would be the school lunch :). Proud to be a Katy Tiger!!!!

Both my stepson and daughter are sophomores at Katy High School and they've both have had excellent experiences. They are both in Pre-AP/AP courses and the teachers do challenge them and truly are getting them ready for college. The school spirit is second to none as well. I would highly recommend K...

Terrible. Have tried to leave and people at the district are heartless and don’t care. 6/10 on great schools means my kid is getting an inferior education while I’m paying outrageous taxes.

This school has definitely improved over the years. The staff here are so nice and teach very good. Before, there were some bullies here and there, but most of them have cleared out. I would definitely recommend this school for academics and athletics.
