The best part of Fairfield Junior High is that it only one floor so you can move quickly to your classes. FFJH also pays special attention to sports and academics. Most of the teachers are excellent, helpful, and educated. One of the not-so-great things at FFJH is some of the top choices for the substitutes, and the food they serve for lunch. Most of the substitutes don't know what they're talking about and in the end confuses me and my classmates. The change I would like to see in the school is the food they serve to be healthier.

I don't feel as if most of the teachers care about the students. They lecture more than they mentor. One of the best experiences I had at school was helping in the class for kids with disabilities. It was the one place in school where I felt the teachers were doing the job because they really cared about the kids and their future.

Fairfield Jr. High has administration, teachers, and counselors who care about the students. There are a number of English Language Learners who have Spanish-speaking TAs and aides who help students learn English and become successful. I like what I see in their efforts to improve equity.
