Founded in 1981, Kearny Christian Academy began as a ministry and was transformed by the church elders, who wanted to give the area’s children a more meaningful, faith-based learning experience. Located across from the residential community on Wilson Avenue, Kearny Christian Academy offers a daycare program and elementary, middle and high school education. In elementary school, children have daily bible study and instructors employ a variety of teaching methods for students who benefit from different learning styles. Students prepare for high school with a busy schedule of core classes, and many students participate in extracurricular dance classes, including ballet, tap and jazz. The high school curriculum offers students a rigorous college preparatory track, and students consistently score above the national average on national and state standardized tests. Students advance to dive deeper into core subjects each year, and studies always include a solid biblical aspect. Vocational training is also available to Kearny's high school students. The academy frequently checks in on students’ progress and works closely with parents and guardians to ensure no child falls behind in their studies.

Teachers were very well when it came to teaching and knowing what they were teaching. They had a drive to be close with the students as well as a very strong care for their futures.
