Greenlawn Terrace Elementary School, located at 1500 38th St. in Kenner, serves children from prekindergarten through fifth grade and enrolls a little more than 500 students. Greenlawn Terrace Elementary is one of more than 80 facilities in the Jefferson Parish school system, and the parish is the largest school district in the state. The institution is part of a 1:1 technology program for its students, which means every child has access to a Chromebook or laptop. The program is designed to teach children to use everyday technology safely and responsibly. The school also offers computer literacy courses and uses Promethean Boards for interactive displays and instruction. Students are required to wear uniforms.
The school also promotes student, parent and community engagement with events like a neighborhood block party, talent show and awards programs.
Greenlawn Terrace Elementary School provides transportation to and from campus each day for all qualifying children.

This is my Son's first year at Green Lawn. He came from Baby Ben and its a big difference. Green Lawn doesn't have recess and they don't teach a second language.
