GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have just been informed that we are one of the top schools in our state. OK then. Honestly, I stress myself out, but the classes aren't that bad. The teachers aren't that bad, especially now (they used to be worse, but a lot of teachers got replaced). I don't know much about special study options, but the most popular classes are the required courses and anything that the students would consider a "blow-off" class. The workload depends on the class. The scheduling process can sometimes be tricky, but it's not that bad.

Kingston is a good community that supports the athletic programs and the school in general. Very small town, so Friday nights are always a big deal during football season, and the basketball and baseball programs have a great crowd as well. I love being a student athlete in a small town, most of the time. Like all small town programs, politics sometimes gets in the way of success.

Tutoring is available to students in our school. Although, I would not call it the best. They have tutoring for students after school but, they do not push students to get help if they need it. The "No student left behind Act," I would say does not really apply at our school. To me, I am a pretty smart student but, when I ask questions, I sometimes get the look as if I'm stupid.
